Anatolian Endemic Heritage Reflected on Glass
Bringing the fluid forms of nature and the dynamism of water into living spaces, this special collection comes to life through the interpretation of glass artist Esra Balcı. Inspired by the Abant Trout (Salmo trutta abanticus), one of Anatolia's rare and endemic species, this piece is a completely handmade design using the masterfully applied fused glass technique. It conveys the elegance within the water and the natural form of the fish to the space with an abstract language.
Strong Stance, Elegant Display
The naive texture of the glass is balanced by the strong stance of the industrial oven-painted black metal base. The single-sided (front-oriented) configuration of the design ensures a flawless appearance on consoles, niches, fireplace mantels, or display areas parallel to the wall. The simplicity of the matte black metal highlights the light plays and color transitions of the glass.
