Inspired by one of the most noble creatures of tropical waters, the Discus fish, this special series bears the signature of glass artist Esra Balcı. Entirely handmade using the kiln-formed fusion glass technique, each piece adds an energetic atmosphere to your space by combining the inherent light transmittance of glass with striking and vibrant color patterns.

Graded Design Adding Depth

The most distinctive feature of the Discus Series is that the sculptures are displayed on black metal pedestals of different heights. While the size of the glass fish forms is standard in every product; a visual dynamism is provided thanks to different pedestal heights of 17 cm, 22 cm, and 28 cm. This asymmetric and stepped structure creates a three-dimensional depth and a feeling of a school swimming together underwater, especially when used side-by-side as a set of 3.
