Inspired by the Discus fish, one of the most noble creatures of tropical waters, this special series bears the signature of glass artist Esra Balcı. Entirely handmade using the kiln-formed fusion glass technique, each piece combines the natural translucency of glass with striking and vivid color patterns to add an energetic atmosphere to your space.

Graduated Design Adding Depth

The most distinctive feature of the Discus Series is the presentation of the sculptures on black metal pedestals of different heights. While the size of the glass fish forms is constant in every product; a visual dynamism is provided thanks to different pedestal heights of 17 cm, 22 cm, and 28 cm. This asymmetric and graduated structure, especially when used side by side as a set of 3, creates a three-dimensional depth in your space and a feeling of a school swimming together underwater.
