In the tale of Illuyanka, the serpent represents a powerful force of nature confronting the Storm God. It symbolically reflects the struggle and the newly restored cosmic order.
The original drawing is hand-carved onto a linoleum block and subsequently transferred onto handmade recycled barley paper. This is a unique piece from a limited collection of 40 editions.
Since each print is handmade, it may show slight differences and is one-of-a-kind.
