Our story commences with our grandfather Saban Kula’s glue factory in Kagithane. In 1958, Saban starts producing candles in the factory’s annexe. When Cemal is born that summer, Saban names his new side venture after his son. However, due to health complications in the family, he’s obliged to leave his dream behind. In 2018, precisely 50 years later, grandsons Berk and Barkin Kula, with their daughter-in-law Gözde Temurci brings their grandfather’s dream back to life as Cemal Candle Company.
