Born and based in Istanbul, Burcu Sülek is a Turkish designer concentrated in contemporary jewelry. Just after graduating from Istanbul Technical University Management Engineering Department she had joined and worked for global brands of consumer electronics as marketing manager for over 13 years until when she had the chance to change her whole career to a completely different direction. Now she is enjoying the freedom to express her feelings through her own jewelry line. On top contemporary jewelry provided the diverseness to create whatever she desires. Being a proof she used sponges in her Emptiness Collection in which the material gave her the opportunity to freely add the color to her pieces while letting the pieces go bigger as the weight concern was regardless.
