Burak Kaya was born in 1984 in Turhal, Tokat. Throughout his life he had a keen interest in the field of design and always felt admiration for hand-crafted products. KAYYA came into the picture in Burak Kaya's house, part of which was turned by himself into a leather studio at the time he was studying at the Graphic Design department in the Faculty of Fine Arts, Marmara University. It also took shape in his student days and in the wake of his designs, first handmade bags came forward. More production came along and when it was widely acclaimed, it took the name of KAYYA. Anatolia, being the first collection of KAYYA, was created with an inspiration from a civilization that has proved itself to the world and has a deep-rooted history in leather and leather craftsmanship. In this sense, the name of each product stands for the first names of the cities such as Ankuva – Ankara, Marde – Mardin, Adalia – Antalya…

Getting its strength from hand workmanship of the best craftsmen and a choice of high-quality leather, KAYYA has set its sights on introducing a Turkish brand to the world.
